Project WeCan ("WeCan") is a Business-in-Community initiative launched by Wharf in 2011. It is a pioneer multi-faceted school improvement project that aims at empowering local secondary school students with disadvantaged backgrounds through learning opportunities. Project WeCan has turned a new page in 2021/22 school term with the launch of Phase IV - with the staunch support of over 70 partners from different sectors and over 2,200 local and expatriate volunteers, 82 schools and over 93,000 students have benefitted so far.
Harbour City, Times Square, Plaza Hollywood, Marco Polo Hotels - Hong Kong, The Murray, Hong Kong and Pacific Club are supporting 18 WeCan schools. Over the past few years, they have offered various workshops and programmes to the less-privileged students to equip themselves with self-confidence and all-rounded skills for long term development.
